Movianto further expands European logistics for DAIICHI SANKYO

Movianto, a logistics company specialised in pharmaceutical and healthcare, has expanded the services for DAIICHI SANKYO EUROPE to three additional countries: Austria, Spain and Great Britain. Furthermore the companies’ existing successful cooperation in France is to be continued. Alongside the storage and distribution of DAIICHI SANKYO’s products, Movianto will also be undertaking diverse specialised services along the supply chain in these countries.
The storage of the pharmaceutical products will take place in the warehouses of Movianto’s subsidiaries from where wholesalers are to be supplied. Alongside the European infrastructure and the certified quality standards in all Movianto locations the IT platform, Movianto Prince, was the decisive factor contributing to DAIICHI SANKYO’s decision to extend its European contract.
DAIICHI SANKYO has been relying on Movianto for their logistics in France for many years now. In France and Great Britain, the logistics service provider will be undertaking services such as the storage and transport as well as the complete Order-to-Cash management - this is order processing from receipt stage to invoicing. In Austria and Spain, Movianto will also be responsible for the distribution of promotional materials for DAIICHI SANKYO.
