Movianto Win Van Operator of the Year Title

Movianto Northern Ireland has won a top prize at the prestigious annual Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards.
The company has been named ‘Van Fleet Operator of the Year’ (award sponsored by Ford) at a glittering ceremony in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast on Friday 19 September 2008.
An independent panel of expert judges were full of praise for the specialist healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics operator Movianto.
It is the only healthcare logistics provider which delivers to every hospital and
pharmaceutical wholesaler every day and can guarantee same day delivery of chilled and ambient medicines through its own dedicated fleet of dual temperature vehicles.
The judges particularly noted that all Movianto vehicles are fitted with a secure Keys-Out system which enables the vehicle engine to continually run the fridge units whilst the driver is out of the vehicle making delivery. There is also a backup power source if the engine fails.
The awards ceremony – now in its seventh year - is organised annually by the magazine Export & Freight, and is recognised as the premier event in the Irish transport calendar.
There are 16 categories covering every aspect of the transport and logistics sectors, with the aim of identifying the best in the industry.
