Movianto further expands warehouse capacity to Barcelona and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Movianto, a Europe-wide logistics service provider for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, has expanded its warehouse capacity to Barcelona and Las Palmas in order to further strengthen its support to clients in the Catalonian and Canary Islands regions.
Following the opening of a second warehouse in Madrid, Movianto has now further expanded its facilities to Barcelona to maintain closer proximity to its clients ensuring even better customer supply and services to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients in Catalonia. The warehouse, located in Viladecans, is approx. 15 minutes from the city centre and is close to the international airport.
The expansion to the Canary Islands is the next logical step since Movianto now covers the whole of Spain via convenient road connections. The company can further ensure its clients the prompt delivery of their products by supplying all pharmacies, wholesalers and hospitals on all seven islands at highly competitive service levels. The new warehouse is located in the industrial region El Goro, close to the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Movianto facilities in Barcelona and Gran Canaria provide clients with a substantial competitive advantage with regard to accuracy and responsiveness. In addition to warehousing and transportation, Movianto also offers order-to-cash services, manufacturing, kitting, repackaging and relabeling. Furthermore Movianto provides added value services to the client sales force by supplying them with samples and promotional materials.
Both locations are, as all Movianto warehouses, built according to the latest state-of-the-art specifications and are equipped with all security systems and temperature control that comply with Good distribution practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). It is also able to store ambient and temperature controlled products.
