Inauguration of the new Movianto warehouse in Aalst, Belgium

Movianto Belgium Dirk Raes celebrated the official opening of the new warehouse in Aalst on 23 April 2010. About 60 Movianto clients from the Benelux region accepted the invitation of the Managing Director, Patrick Esselaar.
The company has successfully grown its cold chain logistics and distribution business over the past years and therefore has consistently followed the increasing demand from the market in this region. With a new ambient storage capacity of 3,000 pallets and new cold chain facilities for up to 2,500 pallets, the new warehouse was the next strategical step to move towards a European Distribution Centre. Together with the warehouse in Gent, Movianto is now in a position to provide a total storage capacity of 7,000 pallets in Belgium.
The official opening took place at the new warehouse itself, where a nice setting invited clients to network and learn more about Movianto Belgium Dirk Raes. The program included presentations from Alexander Paasch, Managing Director of the Movianto Group, and Patrick Esselaar, Managing Director Movianto Belgium Dirk Raes. Amongst others, an interesting input was given on existing and successful business models with Movianto from a client's point of view, highlighting the good cooperation with Movianto in the Benelux region.
Following the official inauguration ceremony, Patrick Esselaar was pleased to assign Alexander Paasch to cut the ribbon to officially open the warehouse to the clients, who had the chance to take a close look at what can be called 'one of the biggest fridges in Europe'. Overall Movianto Belgium Dirk Raes set a clear sign that high-quality services will continue to meet individual business needs - within the Benelux region and throughout Europe.
