Movianto staff helps improve quality of life for disabled children at Lila Home

Movianto Česká republika, the logistics and distribution company specialising in pharmaceutical and healthcare services, had a different kind of expedition in April. The well trained team lent their otherwise clean hands to another type of work at the Lila Home for Disabled Children in Otnice.
The 15 people-strong Movianto team spent a working day to clear up the garden at the Lila Home so that the disabled children there could use it as a playground. As experts in high qualified and specialised logistics and distribution management, the team were delighted to transfer their skills to manual work. Jana Krčálová, Quality Manager at Movianto, says: ‘We were able to work together efficiently for a cause that we strongly believe in. We are happy that we could give these children the play area that they needed.’
The Lila Home for disabled children is a medical facility providing fulltime care for children with physical and mental disabilities. Opened in 1954, the house caters for children who cannot receive adequate care elsewhere.
Managing Director, Roman Harviščák, of Movianto Česká republika commented: ‘As a steadily growing company in the Czech Republic we are happy to contribute to other sectors of society. We are proud that we have been able to help the children in the Lila house and contribute to their quality of life.’
