Movianto further strengthens position in CEE: Expansion to Slovakia

Movianto, the logistics and distribution service provider specialising in pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, has further extended its footprint in the CEE region by founding Movianto Slovakia.
The decision to extend Movianto’s Europe-wide network to Slovakia has been a multifaceted one. The widening of the European reach is designed to extend Movianto’s service offerings to other international pharmaceutical companies in this region. Further, the move has been made to better serve existing clients from the Czech Republic which requires Movianto’s services also in Slovakia.
The new warehouse, with a pallet capacity of 6,000 spaces as well as 12,000 spaces in the Czech Republic, is best located to deal with the growing needs of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Movianto in the CEE now holds a total capacity of 18,000 pallet spaces which includes storage facilities for ambient, cold chain and narcotic products. Further, the warehouses are excellently situated close to the borders of Austria and Hungary enabling fast and easy access to these countries.
To optimally synergise effects in both countries, Slovakia and the Czech Republic will be led as regional organisations under the management of the Managing Director, Roman Harviščák.
The Movianto Group is now present in 13 European countries and currently holds over 225,000 pallet storage spaces throughout Europe. All of these 24 warehouses are certified according to ISO 9001:2008
