Movianto To Handle Distribution of Medice Abseamed®

Following the approval of Abseamed®, Medice will be
launching the drug in Germany in October. The pharmaceutical
company will be relying on Movianto for warehousing and
transportation services. As one of the leading European
providers of distribution and logistics services for the
pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industry, Movianto
offers an ideal infrastructure and services - for example,
by ensuring that the cool chain of this highly sensitive
product is maintained at all times.

the rapid penetration of the German market by Abseamed®
starting in October."
Abseamed® has been approved for the treatment of anaemia
in predialysis and dialysis patients, as well as in tumour
patients undergoing chemotherapy. Movianto will deliver
the drug not only to wholesalers, but also directly to dialysis
centres, pharmacies and hospitals within 24 hours as needed.
The drug will be stored in compliance with product-specific
requirements (e.g. permanent cooling) while maintaining
highest quality standards. It will also be actively cooled
to 2-8°C during transport.
Medice will have web-based access to the Movianto IT platform
for real-time information on transport and order data, stocks
and incoming orders. The partners have also agreed that
Movianto will provide additional services such as postponement,
picking and distribution for clinical studies.
