Movianto expands its European presence to Slovenia
Stuttgart, Germany, 3 June 2008
The Movianto Group is now also operating in Slovenia. In
future, Movianto in Slovenia will be offering full logistics
and distribution services to clients from the pharmaceutical
industry. This means that Movianto, a business unit of Celesio
AG, now has a presence in ten European countries.
The extension of the logistics network is based on the close
collaboration with Kemofarmacija, the leading Slovenian
pharmaceutical distributor and also member of the Celesio
Group. Operating under the brand name of Movianto Slovenija,
the company will be providing manufacturer-oriented warehousing
and transportation services including order processing as
well as packaging and labelling services.
The certified ISO 9001:2000 warehouse located in Ljubljana
meets the high-quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry,
with large storage capacity, modern IT systems and radio
frequency reading of bar codes when receiving goods.
