Sanalog Logistik celebrates its 10th anniversary and is renamed as Movianto Deutschland GmbH

Movianto Group, a business unit of Celesio AG, the European
pharmaceutical distribution company, is strengthening its
umbrella brand "Movianto" by renaming its German
subsidiary. Sanalog Logistik GmbH will now operate with
immediate effect under the name of Movianto Deutschland
GmbH.
Thomas Creuzberger, Managing Director of Movianto Deutschland
explains: "Renaming our company underlines our affiliation
with the European Movianto Group. The name Movianto stands
for a company with a European orientation, which combines
local market know-how with cross-border supply chain efficiency
for its customers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare market."
The renaming is taking place just in time for the 10th
anniversary of the company's foundation, which will be celebrated
on 15 September in Neunkirchen/Saarland in the presence
of employees, customers, business partners and representatives
from business and politics. Fritz Oesterle, Chief Executive
Officer and Chairman of Celesio AG's Management Board states
at the event: "Movianto Deutschland is a dynamic company
that is in the midst of expanding its full potential and
will strengthen the Movianto Group's network to become the
premier provider of healthcare distribution and logistics
services in Europe."
Movianto Deutschland offers innovative logistics and distribution
services, including packaging services, postponement and
clinical trials. The two sites in Kist/Würzburg and
Neunkirchen/Saarland provide a combined warehouse area of
40,000 sqm, which incorporates storage space for more than
18,000 pallets. Together, the two sites represent an excellent
platform that enables the company to act as a European distribution
centre for clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare
industry. More and more international clients are looking
for European solutions and have signed multi country distribution
contracts with Movianto Deutschland.
Movianto Group will successively rename its other subsidiaries,
which beside Movianto Česká republika (Czech Republic)
and Movianto Deutschland (Germany) are: Sanova Pharma (Austria),
DGX Pharma (France), Healthcare Logistics and Castlereagh
Pharmaceuticals (United Kingdom), SEUR Pharma (Spain) as
well as the Movianto divisions of K.V. Tjellesen (Denmark),
Cahill May Roberts (Ireland) and NMD Grossisthandel (Norway).
