In the UK, for example, the Direct-to-Patient home care service is offered to chronically ill patients. Here Movianto in association with the Celesio Group companies Lloydspharmacy and AAH, provides a service called “Evolution Homecare”. This simplifies the life of many patients who urgently need medication brought to their doorstep.

State-of-the-art pharmacy
All services at our pharmacy are governed by Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) guidelines. Medicines are dispatched from one of our eight MHRA-accredited depots.
High-tech delivery
Dual-temperature vehicles combine chilled and ambient storage. Temperatures are monitored via the driver's dashboard display and remote satellite tracking.
Drivers
Trained drivers deliver a patient-centred service: where possible we try to keep the same staff on the same routes, so that they become a familiar face to the patient.
Nurses
A national team of fully qualified nurses ensure ‘best practice’ clinical standards and offer home assessment visits, drug administration and carer training.
